Summary:
The QTI Group is recruiting for 3rd Shift Painters for a metal fabrication company in Mayville.
The painters will be responsible for applying wet spray or powder coat paint to fabricated metal and other structural surfaces, using spray guns, brushes, and rollers.

Responsibilities:
Read work order and receive instructions from manager to determine work requirements Observe the metal product to determine if the metal surface contains any errors that need repair prior to paint application Apply paint, wet and powder coat, and other finishers to metal fabrication and/or structural surfaces using brushes and spray guns Mix and match the color of paint, wet and powder coat, with oil, thinning and dying additives in order to obtain desired colors and consistencies Identify, safe handle and dispose of paints, stains, preparatory and undercoating materials appropriately
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task Strong basic math and computer skills Knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, and application techniques common to the painting trade Experience painting on a moving line in a manufacturing setting #indBD.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
