Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through project team members.
Responds to a customer's requests for information (quotes, project information and general information) within the time parameters given by the customer.
Creates a good working relationship with all customer contacts so they come to MEC when they need help or are considering a new project.
Promote Mayville Engineering Co.'s DFM capabilities and Sheet Metal Seminars as a way of reducing part cost.
Reviews blueprints, plans and other customer documents used to develop and prepare cost estimates or projected changes in production from customer's use of MEC;s services.
Coordinates the activities of Engineering, Tool Engineering and Manufacturing on various critical orders to insure delivery, consistent with customer requirements.
Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
Reports to Management on trends or changes occurring at our customers, prospects, and/or manufacturing metal products as a whole.
Provide estimated costs to sales for new projects and changes to existing.
Has responsibility for assigned projects from conception to end of life.
Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor''s degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations written in English. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in English from groups of managers, customers, or other employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
